Tochato Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy
Tochato lets people talk one to one in a browser. To make that work we have to handle some information about you. This page says which information, what we do with it, who else is involved and what you can ask us to change.
Updated October 13, 2026
01Scope
This policy covers tochato.cam, whether you open it in a browser tab or from an icon you added to your home screen. It applies to guests and to people who have signed in, from the first page load onward.
02Information that comes from you
- A guest identifier created automatically on your first visit, together with the display name and language shown on your profile.
- Sign-in information, if you choose to sign in later. We receive what is needed to recognise your account and never the password to any outside service.
- Anything you add to your profile, such as a photo or a line about yourself, and the list of people you follow.
- Messages you type. They are stored so that they can be delivered and so that your conversation is still there when you come back.
- A history of what you did on the site: when matches and calls took place, roughly how long they lasted, Reward Center claims and how coins were spent.
- Reports you submit about other people, and anything you send to support.
03Information gathered automatically
- Your IP address, from which we work out an approximate country.
- The type of device and browser, the operating system and the screen size.
- Technical logs of errors and load times.
- Cookies and local storage entries that keep a session open and remember your settings.
04Camera and microphone
Your browser asks for permission before the site can use either one, and you can take that permission back in the browser settings at any moment. During a call, sound and picture travel between you and the other person so that the conversation can take place. What the other person does with their own screen is outside our control, so behave on camera as you would in any place where a stranger can see you.
05Payments
Coin purchases are handled by payment providers. They process your card or wallet details; we receive a confirmation, the amount and a reference number, which we need to credit the coins and to answer questions about a purchase.
06Why we use this information
- To run the service: create matches, connect calls, deliver messages and show who is online.
- To keep track of free matches, Reward Center claims and coin balances.
- To apply the community guidelines, look into reports and stop abuse or fraud.
- To fix faults and understand, in aggregate, which parts of the site people use.
- To meet legal obligations.
07Who else is involved
Other users see your display name, profile photo, country and whatever you say or show in a chat. Companies that work for us receive what they need to do their job: connecting calls, storing data, processing payments, sending service messages and measuring usage. We also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
08How long it is kept
Information is kept while your guest session or account is in use and for a period afterward where we need it for security, accounting or legal reasons. A guest session that is abandoned may be removed after a period without activity.
09What you can do
- Edit your display name and profile from inside the site.
- Withdraw camera or microphone permission in your browser.
- Clear cookies and site data, which ends a guest session on that browser.
- Ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion by writing to [email protected] with "Privacy request" as the subject.
10Age limit
Tochato is only for people who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly keep information about anyone younger.
11Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant we will say so on the site before it takes effect.
